Dawn Crippin was born and raised in New Orleans area and moved to Slidell in the early 80's.  She and her husband, Jimmy have two children, a daughter, Christy & and a son, James.  Both were born and raised in Slidell.  Dawn and Jimmy recently built a new home in Olde Towne Slidell and have fallen in love with the Olde Towne area.  Once settled, Dawn immediately got involved in community efforts for the betterment of Olde Towne.  She has served on the Olde Towne Slidell Historic Preservation Board for 3 years and is currently the Treasurer for Olde Towne Slidell Main Street.  Dawn's goal as a member of Main Street is to help with the revitalization of Olde Towne and to help maintain its beautiful historic ambience.
