Jessica Hester currently works for Northshore Humane Society as the Veterinary Practice Manager. She is originally from the Southshore and has called Slidell home since 2007. She has an extensive career in non-profit management working with the St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce, Northshore Home Builder's Association, and Bastrop Chamber of Commerce/Morehouse Tourist Commission. Jessica holds a Masters in Arts Administration from the University of New Orleans and a BA in history. She enjoys being active in the community and currently sits on the board of directors for Leadership St. Tammany and Main Street Slidell. Jessica is also an East St. Tammany Habitat for Humanity "Rosie" for the Women's build chapter, as well as, a member of the new all women's krewe--Krewe of Athenia.
Jessica recently moved to Olde Towne in August 2021 with her husband, Jay, their children: Mason & Mara, four cats: Cate, Harley, Beric and Khione & dog, Ivy. They live in the 4th oldest house in Slidell, known as the Peach House or Grandma Mac's house.
