Olde   Towne   Slidell
Main    Street

The  heart  +  soul  of  Slidell

Olde Towne is the heart and soul of Slidell.  From its early beginnings in 1882 until now, Olde Towne has been the cultural center - the area that makes our community unique.  Filled with local gift shops, antique stores, unique boutiques, delicious restaurants, historic homes, local art, and a lively bar scene, Olde Towne is our personality. Our identity.  Friendly faces can be found strolling through the streets, eating at the cafes, shopping locally, and enjoying time with others.  It's our home, our own little slice of southern charm.

Olde Towne Slidell Main Street is a non-profit organization to help preserve and enhance the historic and economic integrity of our Olde Towne Slidell Main Street District, and promote Olde Towne as a center of cultural activity with a cohesive community identity.  We strive to make Olde Towne better through historic preservation, economic vitality, promoting our area, organizing events, and design.  Join us in keeping it beautiful!  Shop local.  Eat local.

ShoP  local.   eat  local.  live  local.

Delivery, gift cards, dine-in, carry-out...all ways you can support our local restaurants! #CommunityImmunity

"I’m concerned for our businesses here in Slidell. Please keep patronizing our local businesses. They need your support now more than ever. If you are sick or concerned about being out in public, there are many services that will deliver groceries and food from local stores and restaurants straight to your front door."

- Mayor Greg Cromer

If you have ever gone to an Olde Towne Farm to Table Dinner, Been to Oktoberfest, Purchased an Olde Towne T-shirt, Bought Popcorn at Slidell Movie Nights, Purchased a Brick, or Dined during A Taste of Olde Towne - Then you have helped this dream come true! Olde Towne's street signs will be getting a facelift after Mardi Gras.

"The signs have been purchased and as soon as they arrive the City of Slidell will begin the installation process," Amber Murry, President of Olde Towne Slidell Main Street said.  The Main Street team of volunteers gives up their free time to assist in the betterment of Olde Towne by volunteering throughout the year, attending meetings and working with other organizations. "The project will be divided into at least 2 phases. The first phase will be installed hopefully in March after the St. Patty's Day Parade."  Main Street would like to thank all of the people that made this possible!
Main Street is always looking for people to help volunteer. To become a part of this AMAZING organization, or simply to help out, just let us know!
